That looks like wheat. Maybe barley or some related grain.

  2. May be wheat germ – were you growing wheat grass for cats?

It’s wheat. Because it’s such a small amount, I’m wondering if you have a cat and intended to grow a pot of wheatgrass for them at some point?

I work in a grain elevator. Definitely wheat. Looks like Red Spring wheat by how red it is.

Barley. Some people swear by barley water (water in which barley seeds were left to germinate) as a rooting agent.

Thank you everyone – I don’t know where it came from but it’s likely cat grass… and my son and I will plant it for my cat!

EDIT Do_over_24 is right!!! It’s from a terrarium kit we got for Christmas !!!!!!

As others said, it looks like wheat grass. We got an identical baggie in a Glo and Grow Terrarium. It came with chia seeds and wheat grass. Just in case you’ve had any art projects drift through your home
