I found this shrub today. Despite being small, some can grow up to 4'9" (about 150 cm). They're extremely common in my area (equatorial; high humidity, hot summers and a rather irregular but voluminous rainy season – thank you global warming for messing up the seasons). The fruits are green/purple and are poisonous, causing low blood pressure and a strong emetic effect, and it's particularly dangerous for children (can result in cardiac arrest, hydroelectrolytic disorder and coma). The sap is used for medicinal purposes, in skin ailments. Please, help me identify it.
