So proud of you! 💚It’s going to be amazing & I can’t wait to see all your spring bulbs!🌷🪻🌷
You seem so unburdened, enlivened, bright, and just happy. I'm very happy for you and excited for your next chapter in life. I wish you nothing but the best.
That rain is making me nervous about the slope where you have tulips planted. I hope you have it mulched by now do you don't lose all that compost!
Wishing you the very best !
❤❤❤
You look so much better Serena❤
If we can't do a gofund or donate money… replay her videos on loop. Let the ads complete in full. So she can get the large paychecks from YouTube. We can help her get her there!
I’m excited to see your videos
Totally off the topic, but your haircut is very cute!
I'm so excited to learn your plans for this space.
Nice one you'll get there and your looking grand
Have you gone on Facebook or other community sites asking for and looking for plants? When I dug out a bunch of hosta I gave them away
The flower hill sounds amazing!!!!! Maybe have a little tier path in the future to make your life easier. I can’t wait to see your results.
Also, since you’re on a hill, do you like the idea of creating a creek bed to funnel water down to a pond that can also serve as irrigation? Sorry, but your posts make me 🤔. This will be my 1st year selling cut flowers but prior to this I had to create a dry creek bed to fix flooding issues.
I am going to enjoy following you! Great video! 😊
I’m so looking forward to seeing your vision come to life… it sounds amazing!!
I live in the lovely countryside here in the England, UK and love seeing the blanket of wild English Bluebells so last Autumn (Fall) I planted 120 bulbs of non wild English Bluebells to create my very own blanket of Bluebells under my oak tree …they have begun to appear so excited 😁
You may want to get ahold of an arbourist and see if you can get a few tons of free mulch. It is usable by next year but if you put yhe fresh stuff down between your rows, it wi hold the water for you.
Girlfriend, if that tub don't warm up. $100 stock tank will work. Fill it just over half up in the morning, and it will be perfect temp by end of the day. Into the evening. Enjoy.
Sounds so beautiful, looking forward to the unfolding,
Wow! What a great barrow of ideas and plans! You have some really neat spaces that you can get so creative with. Thanks for sharing the beginnings with all of us. It is very inspiring indeed!
All your dreams are going to come true. You are going to have the budget and more. I know you will!
If those trees are a problem with overhead power lines, your power provider may be willing to remove them for you!! Usually, there is no cost to you. Worth looking into!!
I love all your ideas! We moved to this property last fall… it's a blank slate too! I can't wait to see what you get done! -Kirsten
I'm so excited for you sharing your yard dreams! We ALL need dreams to bring more sunshine into our lives. I'm so ready for springtime!💐 I also have several slope areas in my yard, so I'm looking for to see your flower bed and shade garden. Thanks again for sharing! Love the hair do! ❣️
your dog is adorable
I use a slope, it did reallly well. I used a few rocks to make sort of stoppers so water didn’t just run off. Sort of like little swales.
You most certainly can grow cut flowers in shade. First hosta and coral bells you mentioned are great foliages that can be used as well as Solomon seal and all varieties of fern. Heuchera villosa 'Autumn Bride gets the most sizable showy flowers that can be used as cuts as well as Astrantia, astilbe, bleeding heart and hellebore are also great cuts for shade if your zone allows. And bulbs can also be planted strategically if certain pockets or edges get some sun during spring before deciduous trees leaf out above. Just in case these weren’t on your radar as good cuts.
Your ideas sound wonderful, I bet you can work it with a $1000 budget. Your knowledge is so valuable. I enjoy listening to you.
Can't wait to see
You took the words out of my thoughts — I was thinking make that front tiers! Before you remove the trees in that location, make sure you are able to. Check with the City first. You don't want to pay someone to take it out only to find out you have to plant a new one of the same size because it's a street tree. Your plans sound magnificent!
Middle of the night here in Greely, Ontario and i found your sight. Sounds like what we were thinking also. I just got through an operation and my mind is going all the time now that I'm on the mend. Can't wait to see all your flowers this spring. Best wishes your new subscriber Maria ❤
Exciting to see your plans …I’ve grown English cottage style with lots of bee loving plants and wildflowers in there….i did think for 10 years it looked amazing but then I realised the summer and autumn where so beautiful but I missed early spring and winter structure and colour…it needed some form …I love seeing snow on every greens so I added some nice hebes ,box , evergreen shrubs etc …and topiary..Im obsessed with cloud pruning….and sculptures 😂❤
Most of my garden was planted by cuttings , clumps and layers…asking everyone when doing my gardening job xx
