Downsizing was actually one of the best decisions I made in my garden. Things looked so cluttered previously and it was a perfecting breeding ground of pests to spread! Now the garden looks more spaced out and curated!

I also share one or two future plans for the garden as well as tips on how to container garden in a small space!

  1. It’s all looking really wonderful, I totally agree that is silly plant people end up getting too many plants sometimes.
It makes it harder to enjoy what we have when we’re always overwhelmed with chores and pests .

I too have left myself nowhere to sit in the past , then wondered what is the point in a garden if you have no room to sit and enjoy it!

My garden is so frazzled and frosted right now in the UK, but I have some flowers going always. Colour is good for my mental health. Especially in the grey & cold depths of winter.

Lovely to see the bounty and sunshine in your Nigerian garden. Always love to see what’s happening there , take care and be well 🌺❤️💞

  2. I love your plants. Though you've downsized your collection, they still look lush to me. And I will really be contented if they were my collection. More inspiring videos to go.🪴😊

  3. Rats are just foul, vile creatures. So glad you don’t have to deal with them indoors!

  4. Your garden is perfect for your climate. Here in Sweden I have some plants outside and some in the greenhouses. It is the cold and lack of sun that is the problem here. We do get short very warm summers which is a blessing. Live in the countryside make weeds from the surrounding fields and forests are a problem too. Have a natural garden rather than ornamental. The murder slugs (brown and disgusting) eat everything here. So I never have my house plants outdoors.

Thanks for the tour, it was really nice, neat.

  5. I'm in a savanna/semi desert type of climate and the only ornamental plants that don't get burnt by the sun are most cactuses, magadascar palm and the crassula campfire rewards you with very red sun stressed leaves. There might be others that I haven't discovered yet that would survive

  6. Double commenting because that variegated anthurium, M. Thai constellation, and dracaena are too gorgeous not to shout out!
And who knew those euphorbia flowers could be so beautiful?!

  7. Place bark on top of soil for your Australian fern. The soil will stay moist longer and bark prevent the gnats from laying eggs.
    🪴Happy Planting🌿

  8. Loved this video so much! Your plants are so beautiful.
I love how you brought the color in with your Aglaonemas. I have around 80 houseplants including some variegated ones, but I was just saying the other day that I need color in my collection. They are definitely a good way to do this. I have two now, and plan to get some more. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden with us.🪴🫶🏽

  9. 👁️❤️your videos. Look at your monstera leaves😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
You are so funny and fun….your garden is gorgeous ❤. One of these days I’m going to make it to the motherland 🇳🇬❤.

  10. You make me want to go do stuff with my own plants lol 😂
The rats must be stopped 🤔👊🏾
Your rats are my squirrels 🐿️…lol😂. They just mess with stuff…plants…flower boxes…anything…they’re deranged. lol

  11. I cant choose between you succulent area and your aroid one! both so beautiful. I keep my dracena star dust in much brighter light and have got no complaints so far

  12. Ebuka, I love, love, love your garden!
You are so correct about the euphorbia milli, crown of thorns. Mine is always covered in a profusion of flowers, even now that it is indoors for winter. I usually bring it in in late October in Fall and take it outside in the Spring. It never stops blooming, even while indoors for months. I just leave it in a sunny spot, and the show continues. Looking for a thornless one like you have.

  13. you need to invest in real plants like philo warocqueanum , sancti , tortum ets. you can get them as young plants which will be cheaper. your garden looks to normal for a youtube plant guru. i hope the downside created space for that.

  14. A downsize is also wonderful when you weed out to just what your absolutely love, that also thrives in the area of the world you live it. Every space has a set of plants that just love your location. Also o purge like this passes a plant on to a person who is excited to own it and its a happy situation cause you know its going to someone who will give it the care you did. Lastly it frees up space for you to try species new to you and the thrill of trying something new to your care. I think your Snow Queen is iconic enough to carry your look in your patio area and won't it be lovely and relaxing for you to have a morning coffee or a afternoon relaxing area to visit with a friend. I'm so excited for you in this new area you will create. The beauty of plants is the mood they create for you to live in.🌳🌳🫖🍵🧋💻🪑🌳🌳 It's a new era in your plant keeping!!!

  15. This was a lovely tour. Thank you for sharing your garden with us. I laughed every time you spoke about the evil sun and the evil rats. I want to start planting some herbs in my garden but I'm worried about evil rats getting to my produce before me. And you're so right about looking for plant advice online. For us who live in tropical countries, we have to adapt our gardens to our conditions. Thank you again!
