So working on saving the dried out tropical plant as a project. It thrived outside for the summer and fall. Now that’s it’s inside for winter I noticed a new type of growth that is thriving. Any help identifying what this other plant or possible weed is?

Looks like a tree seedling. Location would help!
Geographic location? That’s a seedling from a nut tree a squirrel stashed. Most likely some type of walnut

The teeth along leaf edge look like a Sorbaria. S. sorbifolia is introduced to a large part of US
