I built my tee-pee greenhouse a few days before new years eve. The 2024 Farmer’s Almanac called for a “mild” winter, but my local meteorologist started talking something entirely different!
So glad I listened to the local news folks. Shortly after I constructed the tee-pee, the DC metro area was hit with its first cumulative snowstorm in years. A couple of days later, we had another storm. And in two days, we’ll have our 3rd snowstorm + some crazy Artic Vortex from Siberia!!!! WHAT?!?Le’Sigh! 🤦🏽♀️
All I want to do is put some nutrient dense, TRULY ORGANIC food on my family’s table… and that’s what I’m gonna do! I will adapt to whatever the weather throws my way & keep enjoying what I grow!! 😄 Don’t let this CRAZY weather discourage you from growing your own garden! #eatwhatUgrow!💚🌱 ~xx,pc
