My variegated gloriosum leaves has some white cast on it. Is this normal? Also, one of the leaves is yellowing but not sure if it’s just an old leaf

My variegated gloriosum leaves has some white cast on it. Is this normal? Also, one of the leaves is yellowing but not sure if it’s just an old leaf


I just got this plant about 3 weeks ago so I’m not sure if the yellowing leaf is just an old leaf. I keep it near a humidifier at 55% and water about once a week with cal mag, silica blast, and super thrive. Under grow lights for about 9 hours a day.

    That white film is left over minerals or other impurities from water evaporating.
