Wow kim its looking good are you still growing passion fruit
I may try to do a modified string trellis that’s in a semicircle. That shape would suit where I plant to grow my tomatoes better. I may also switch where I plant corn this year, but I haven’t completely decided on that yet. 😅 I would also like to add a stone pathway, small water feature and several bird and hummingbird feeders. I want to certify the front yard as a wildlife habitat. Love the changes in your garden! 😊
Hi Kim and Jerry,
The February tour looks great, and the plans for the upcoming months appear well-structured. I'm really enjoying the drone shots; please keep them coming. It's terrific that we can learn from our mistakes and then move forward with the improvements.

Oh how fun! LOVE the drone shots!!! Your channel is so much fun! 💙💚💛🧡💜 Liz
Can t wait to see the potting bench! Maybe a tutorial so we can try it at home? I need one as well.
Hi Kim,
Monday morning, I sowed seeds for 36 Mammoth Melting snow peas, and 80 shelling peas. Today, I cleared out, prepped a raised bed, and planted 64 Burgundy and Yellow Potato Onions. Tomorrow’s goal is to plant broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage. After that comes mustard greens, followed by Romaine Lettuce, mixed leaf lettuces, and Pak Choi. I also need to sow seed starts for thyme and cilantro. I can’t wait to get going with warm season crops, 45 days and counting.
Sunday, I finished Net Zero Starcrossed. I got it back from editing this evening, and made the edit corrections. I am in the process of setting up publishing links. In a few days, it will go out to my ARC review team. I’m not supposed to start Net Zero Goes to Hells until Wednesday evening, but was too excited with this story, and am already well into Chapter 3. That is 5 books in two months completed. I’m busy, busy, busy. I do need to take a break from writing before my head explodes, though.
I have grown tomatoes up a trellis, but have never had much production, is there a certain fertilizer that I need to grow more tomatoes?
I’m exclusively a container gardener and I try to do crop rotation every other year. Switching up tomato and peppers locations, biannually. The downside is that most of the garden is shaded, especially y my neighbor tall skinny trees that has grown to blockout lots of morning sun. And my own pine tree that blocks the midday sunlight. But fortunately, I do still get a good crop of vegetables every season. But I would love to have more sun beaming down on my garden area.
One more thing, growing in smart pots (and other grow bags) for the first time last year was a learning curve for me. Need to do better at watering them, and make use of moving the smaller bags around to better sunny locations this year. All the while protecting the crops from the menagerie of critters.
Camera Guy is really handy to have around!! We're doing more flowers this year to encourage the pollinators as well as just make things prettier!
