My scotch bonnet pepper plant (bought on a whim a couple years ago) is SO productive despite multiple accidental near murders. Each time I forgot to water for too long she seemed like a goner but then would grow up above the area that looked dead. But now I’m out of room height wise. Can I cut and prop?? I really don’t want to risk her dying, I’ve gotten pretty attached to my kitchen buddy.
I want to cut above the brown looking stalk, but can I water prop until roots appear? Put it directly in soil?? Should I wait until these peppers are done growing? Or avoid the trauma and just let her crowd around the grow light?
Thank you for any advice!
