It’s been stuck like this for a couple weeks now. Is there anything I can do to help it along? Any ideas for how we got here? This is my first and only Lithops. It has split successfully in the past. Thanks!
it’s a little hard to tell from the photo so I could be wrong but it looks like it has a flower bud, it’ll probably unstick itself by the spring when it opens but if you really think it won’t come loose by itself, you could probably just gently poke it with a pencil eraser, etc. to loosen it ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Just give it a little help by pulling the outer leaves apart and slightly split it. Should get it started again and release the bud.

Also, this is not a lithops but a Pleiospilos nelii ‘Royal Flush’, by the looks of the colour.
