I found this beauty hidden from sight with a bunch of White Princesses in the nursery 5 months ago but what struck me was the beautiful deep red or burgundy splash on its newest unfurled leaf. I thought it was a White Knight from the shape of its leaves.
It’s giving me 1 leaf per month now and the burgundy variegation had been quite consistent. Alternate leaves.
What’s interesting to me is the burgundy variegation stayed 5 months on. I expected it to fade and turn green eventually.
Is this normal for a White Knight? The newest leaf which you can see from the picture has the burgundy variegation as well. I’d say it’s quite consistent in pushing out burgundy variegation for me.
Any thoughts on this? I tried looking online but there didn’t seem to be much about this type of variegation on White Knights.

This is a stunning specimen of WK!
That’s one of the most beautiful ones I’ve ever seen. It’s so perfectly colored! Mine has just started with the burgundy too and I love it.
WOW really pretty white knight!!!
It is normal. This is a gorgeous, genetically blessed white knight.
