Another lovely day on R and R farm! Praying for uneventful deliveries and beautiful healthy kids! Also for a very happy goat keeper! Blessings Kiddo!🌿💚🙏💕👵
I use salvenia in my fish tanks and when it gets to covering the top too much then I take some out and use it as a mulch around some potted plants. I love that you're doing azola. But, yes, even mentioning duckweed in some circles gives panic attacks. Lol. I love that stuff too though.
Can’t wait to see your baby goats!!!
Do you still have to harden the plants off if you sprout/grow them out in the greenhouse?
19:03 Dandelion deliciousness!! They're SOOO healthy for your body!
The greens are a bit bitter/tart, but work well for mixed salads. The flowers make jellies and are delightful adronments on a salad bowl!
😊❤😊
18:46 Dandelions are Not native to the Americas, they were brought here by the colonists as a garden plant. Every part of the plant is edible, except the fluff.
I could listen to you ALL day!! Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
Rhubarb needs lots of water Jess ❤❤❤
Love the farm checks ❤. Missed your family.
you’ve got a busted pumpkin in the pile
Can’t wait for cheese making
Jess my sisters call the comfory pants their "party pants". Sister Shirley was going home to put on her party pants. We had just left a baby shower 😅😢
When you felt Claire's ligaments and hers was different I thought (then chuckled) "Different strokes for different goats"
Can you leave the link or name , where to find the greenhouse? Thanks!
I let dandelions grow too. The roots loosen compacted soil, draw up minerals for your plants, and my chickens love to eat them more than baby spring mix and kale. When they are young they are good in salad. Good for you, working with nature. I bless you.
Please do a sour dough starter video I cant get one started or keep one alive
Rhubarb is one of my favorites. I can't grow it here in California – not cold enough.
Rhubarb has to have a certain number of hours of freezing temps in order to grow well, so I’m not sure if your climate will handle it..? Unless maybe you grow it in a real big pot and keep it in the coldest part of your land over the winter
Thank you !
Please cover the sour dough. I just got my first baby and I’m scared to death! I panicked and threw it in the fridge! 😳 Help! lol 😂
Please tell me about the little heater. You have in your new nursery greenhouse as I have the same one I need a heater. Thank you
What brand of solar fencing do you use/recommend? Needing some for our little flock of chickens.
UMA ÓTIMA NOITE E UMA SEMANA REPLETO DE FELICIDADE👏🏻
Dandelions are a great medicine for soooooo many things
A beautiful South Carolina day and a beautiful South Carolina farmer!
This was interesting seeing how your veggies are growing. I planted some but am holding off on a few. Hearts and Flowers coming your way. ❤️💐
I’d love to have your starter recipe for the fridge. Please
I am happy you have plans to delve into cheese making. Last fall I made your farmers cheese recipe and it was delicious. I’ve bought culture to make chèvre and will try that this spring. I find the cheese making interesting. Funny thing is I don’t have dairy animals. I have sourced goat milk locally and if I want to go on a road trip this spring I can go visit my friend Dani @WickedAwesome Gardening, in New Hampshire, she has 4 expecting mama goats due starting next month. I will stick to the soft cheeses for now, but I’m sure you will inspire me to try making a hard cheese. 🧀
Having grass envy. We got more snow again today. Love the sheep. They are so pretty and pastoral looking. Would love to follow you learning more cheese making. Be a couple more years before I can get a dairy animal but I love to learn.
Another benefit of dandelion is that the long taproot accesses nutrients deeper in the soil and brings them to the surface. The taproot also breaks up heavy soils.
I haven't been here in years because of stuff (so sorry) but… I come back and you immediately start talking about never making cheese. I was so confused, like… I could have aworn you tuaght me 1) a milk goat is definitely an option. 2) How to prepare yourself to get your very own milking goat. 3) how to milk said goat. 4) how make mozz out of goats milk. Like, step-by-step. 😂 So glad I wasnt crazy. I still want a milk goat.
All of my goats who were not due till next week. All delivered this weekend in the same day.. and all they had was twin bucks each. Each set has one identical to daddy and one a clone of their moms. Even with it being all boys at least no more booty watching…
Yesss i need more in deph on how to start and keep starter alive..im scared to start and not know what to do or if im doing it right😅
Hey Jess, I've never had lamb before & I'm a little afraid to cook it. Could you maybe cook a simple lamb recipe on your other channel?
People who dye and chemicals in their ponds are awful, animals drink that and die and they're also polluting the environment
I am in the process of learning the hard way about tiny seeds. Apparently I sowed thirty Hyssop seeds (give or take) to a pod, and now I am up to seven Solo cups and counting. Somewhere my lovely wife must be laughing. 😅
Thank you for championing dandelions!
Dandelion tea…. Is my favorite
Freeze your rhubarb so when the strawberries are ready you can make pie..yum
There’s a man peeking down at you in the kitchen. 😂
Would love to watch videos of your new cheesemaking journey.
