I love Jennie & her husbands beautiful home, they done a great job keeping the character. And Josie & Dunkens house is very homly & so cozy. Love both homes😊
Love the series of Old House New Home, presented by the gallant George Clarke! I do not have a telly, so love receiving these episodes via YouTube – thank you!
George, I absolutely love your program! I’ve been a loyal fan of your series on Channel 4 for years, and your creativity and passion for architecture never fail to inspire me. The way you bring life to spaces and make design accessible to everyone is truly remarkable. Your work has motivated me to see architecture in a whole new light, and I often find myself revisiting your episodes for ideas and inspiration. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world—you’re making a real difference!
This episode is such a stand-out one from the whole series. Just old houses, lovingly restored and made liveable. No gutting, no 'modern twist', just respect. The only thing I would've done in the barn house is made that walk-in robe the nursery for now; when she's old enough she can go down stairs but I wouldn't want my newborn on a separate floor to me.
The budgets were inappropriate for the scope of the projects. No extractor for the barn conversion’s cooktop? Cooking vapors have oil that settles onto surfaces. Did the washing machine go inside the kitchen cabinetry? £35K for a kitchen alone is not really much these days, let alone for one that has bespoke cabinetry and an AGA cooker, then there was stained glass window/frame restoration, a huge painted foyer with French polish, Gothic Revival fireplace…
I love art and crafts tradition in Britain and the charming but also professional presentations of George are not only entertaining but also a learning opportunity. I'm an Italian but though Italy has an extraordinary artistic and architectural heritage, I admire very much the challenging choices simple people are motivated to take in their hands to turn their dream into reality.
It’s too bad in the gothic style home, they removed the stain glass from the servants door next to their new Aga (which BTW are awesome). It would have tied in the room better, JMHO

Incredible magic that comes out of the old "barn". Spaces full of soul, where we can only be happy and satisfied .
Love seeing all the beautiful homes.❤❤❤❤
Lindo…lindo, que transformações tão maravilhosas.
Whoop whoop! Watching it now, thanks so much for the current ones.
Happy weekend everyone!
Fantasy barn conversion! Is little Ruby really going to sleep alone on one floor while they're on another?
Lovely restorations
Just saw this episode on BBC's Lifestyle 2 months ago.
That Victorian house renovation can't be done with 30 k?
Wonderful couples and bonus precious Ruby. Thank you.
The chosen colours and wood tones in both, and those…..absolutely beautiful Victorian windows, this was a great episode, thank you.
Lucky owners!
BOTH houses are stunning!"
So fake.

I love it when you look into the history of the property. All together a great episode. Thanks you! Brigitte 🌷
Two stunning upgrades – quite breathtaking. Hope the owners are super-happy.

Can anyone identify the floral wallpaper seen in the bedroom at .45 seconds into the show?
