  1. First seeds to germinate for me this year were ChilliChump Peri Peri. Amazing seeds and top service – thanks ChilliChump! CC

  2. Hi Shaun, Jamaican hot red caught my attention too. The website I bought it from claims it to be Chinense / Annum cross.

  3. Hope this season will be at least as good as previous. Keep them videos going CC. You are a great inspiration!

  4. Getting really excited for this years season, even though I don't start chillies until March, I've started onions and whatnot. It'll be interesting to see what you think of the warthog CC

  5. 18 varieties this year. First time since 2019 that I managed to withstand and didn't order any new stuff. Still had some untested seeds in my seedbox so have to get rid of those. CC

  6. This is always one of my favorite videos of the year. This is such an exciting time as we plan for the growing season. Your selections are always fantastic. I will absolutely be growing the CC jalapeño and CC Peri Peri. They are my favorite chili by far. Fun to grow the SH’s but I dont eat them much. I wish you and Mrs. CC a bountiful growing season in 2025. Thanks for all you do Shaun! Stay Spicy!!!

  7. Picked out my super hot seeds this week and will be adding those sweets looking Borg 9 yellow that I ordered from you the other day CC

  8. Always the hardest part of the chilli year, deciding which varieties to grow! Few classics and a selection of new varieties cc

  9. Hi chilly chump have you tried Armageddon F1 I grew them last year so prolific for a super hot if so what’s your thoughts on them

  10. You should try the Vampire from Red Dragon! One of the prettiest plants I've had, and they taste great!

  11. I'm not sure if the mention of native app development at the start of the video was influenced by the sponsor, but as a developer, I'd recommend reconsidering that path—especially if you're working solo or with a small team and don't have prior experience. Native app development can be very time-consuming.

If you're looking to make your app feel native, consider exploring Progressive Web Apps (PWAs). They allow your web app to be installable on mobile devices and can provide a native-like user experience without the additional complexity.

  12. I love hearing this selection process each year, always fun hearing about all the varieties you’re planning on reasons for and against.

Around 17 minutes in you were looking through Chubby Chilies offerings. The Howeller Orange, from the Michigan Chilli Grower just up the road from me. I grew them last year, fabulous tasting super hot, probably around 1 million-ish SHU. Cute looking medium wall pods with a thick stinger. Surprisingly fruity; made some awesome sauces with it, pineapple, ginger, and cardamom work very nice with it. It’s a Reaper X Aji Mango, grew really well for a mixed species cross, thick stem, very bushy, still got one as a Bonchi. Growing two of them in 2025, see how well they do in a raised bed vs a 7 gallon pot.

  13. I'm obsessed (of course) with kimchi. Making an eggs with rice and kimchi bowl is my current favorite recipe. Every time I tell myself I'm only growing x amount of chilli's this year, I still break my rule. It's like crisps you don't know how much you will do until you're done. Lol. 👍🏼😃🌶️

  14. Starting ths weekend and since this is my first time germinating peppers I went with the good old and trusty Birds eye and with a much milder species which is also quite an eye candy called the zebrange. The zebrange (Aji Fantasy X Christmas Bell) is a Capsicum bacatum developed by Laurent Minet In Belgium. Since I am from Belgium and have a weak spot for everything odd and quirky (candy cane pattern and lantern shape), I couldn't resist buying some seeds once I came across them. Hopefully they all grow well and hoping to grow more variaties in the future 😁
Also, how are you dealing with custom(s) when these seeds you get cross all kinds of regions and boarders on their way to you? On multiple ocasions I've wanted to buy certain seeds (mainly flowers and fruits) from across the globe. But I never did it cause I was afraid they would get stuck in transit and/ or destroyed.

  15. If you don't already have some, would you like some Tokuyama pepper seeds for future endevors?:D

  16. 5:50 Hello! I would like to ask if you deliver gochugaru chili pepper seeds to Ukraine? I tried to check on your website, but it is not working and shows an error: ‘Something went wrong…’. I’m dreaming of growing gochugaru seeds to make homemade kimchi. Thank you!

  17. I wish I had room to grow 150 different varieties! I enjoy your videos.

I don’t eat super hots, but I am growing to try to grow the “School Bus Karen” and the “Chocolate Carolina Reaper” for two friends.

LOL, Everything else I am going to try to grow will be pretty mild by your standards.
