I have a question regarding long videos (like garden tours). For views, is the YT revenue based on views per video or ads per video. I LOVE garden tours, but I'm assuming they would to take more time to record/edit compared to others. Hoping you get equal compensation for the extra work, or do you just make them because we love them haha! P.S no shoes in the house in Canada!
My friend didn’t want shoes in her house so I reluctantly obliged. However, what did for me about 15 years ago was discovering bird poop tracked across my wooden floors!🤢 I couldn’t believe the difference!🤷🏽♀️
We wear shoes in the house as well. My feet are normally cold anyway. Also we have a dog so with her going in and out throughout the day not much of a difference.
Yay Petitti's. That's one of my local garden centers. It's my habit.
I don't have any issues with the volume with your videos. I do not use the YouTube app. I go through a browser with add blockers.
🥳 Happy birthday Aaron hope you had a great birthday week!! And yay bring on Spring, SO SO ready for it! I am going to make the trip out to Andrew’s one of these days ❤️
Back yard farmer do not need to worry about the Bird Flu ! It’s the poultry producers with chickens moving in and out ALL of the time. My husband worked for a poultry producer and they needed to take precautions when getting a new load of chicks in to raise to be egg producers. ❄️⛄️💚🙃
Regarding fungus gnat infestations. I had a pretty severe problem a year ago which the sticky traps couldn't keep up with. My solution was to make mosquito bit sachets. This "remedy" has eliminated my problem. I cut about a 4" square of doubled-up cheese cloth (you can use whatever porous material you have on hand), add about 1-2T of mosquito bits and tie it off with a twist tie. I keep these sachets in my watering cans always. If I add fresh water to the can, I try and let it sit for about 30m so the bits can infuse into the water. I change out the sachets every 2-3 months. Hope this is helpful. Love your videos! I've learned so much from you.
I have a dirt driveway so dirt is part of my life lol. I have an open door policy, come as you are. I vacuum or sweep daily and just enjoy the laughter of children and visits when they happen.
We also are getting warmer temps in New England today it's going to 42 degrees. It's been in the teens and so cold the snow won't melt but maybe today it will start.
Shoes off in my home but I do have slippers for guests 😊 When I visit others, I take my shoes off always and put my own slippers on. Just how I was raised.

Yeah for Petitti's!!! Eggs – wow, Aldi's here a dozen is about $5.60.
Love your channel! I tell everyone about it:)
Laura, what is the tea you drink throughout the day? Do you have one favorite or a few?
Hint: Use salt water to kill weeds. No chemicals and it works fast.

The USDA has a downloadable pdf called "Protect your poultry from Avaian Influenza".
