I've had these 2 ring of fire since they were little starts in 4 inch pots bought a little less than a year ago. They have gone absolutely bonkers since putting them on poles about 4 or 5 months ago. Going nuts with inflos with roots growing out of the top of the poles with roots filling the most of the space in the poles already. The plants stems are maybe 1/4 to half way up the 2ft poles.

So far just giving the top of the pole a daily misting has kept the roots that grow out of the pole from drying out and dieing off. Gonna see if I can't keep them stalled like they are without letting them dry out so when I do extend the pole they are ready to go.

  1. I’m also having a moss pole fill with roots way too quickly. Been thinking of wrapping the top with plastic wrap to see if that would help guide the roots back down. Though not sure if they would just try poke through anyways
