It looks great by now, personally I’d wait until it seems to have like double small roots

I have pothos that have grown in water happily for over a year with no issues. The drawback is that they don’t do as much as the same plant would, in soil, with fertilizer, etc. But the roots are cool to look at in a glass container!
So, if you want a plant that will proliferate nicely, plant in soil. You could do it now or wait a bit longer, but that’s a healthy guy you’ve got there so I wouldn’t be too worried. Enjoy!
