In this video, I share the most important cucumber growing tips you will ever learn. Through years of research and trails, I have cracked the code for growing cucumbers. Cucumbers can be finicky and temperamental, and if you don’t set your cucumber plants up for success from the start, they may struggle their entire lives. These cucumber tips will ensure you plant cucumbers that bear fruit immediately for big cucumber harvests. Please, do not plant any cucumbers until you learn these 3 lessons!

If you want to make a sustainable garden ( in case of an ER.in the world) how would you replant these next year if the cucumbers don't make any seeds?
Getting that seedless variety! Thanks for the tips!
One of the most important things you left out about cucumber plants is the pests. They can destroy everything no matter how great you are at growing them. Pickle worms took out every cucumber I had last year
Loved this video. Now I understand better why my cukes haven't done so well. Started too early. Wont make that mistake this year. 🙂 Thank you soooo much.
Also: Early "PRINCE", a gynoecious cuke with all "FEMALE" flowers. LOL
Awesome gardening information ! I definitely need to stop wasting time limping plants along, thanks.
Somebody please invent parthenocarpic pumpkins.
Thank you for the tips. Early picking is so important. I lost a few of my plants last year for letting them get yellow .
Great video, here's a comment nobody will ever read;
It's very important for us to provide habitat and native flowers for our native bees. As you bring up in the video, many neighborhoods are virtual deserts for pollinators. If everyone who gardens set aside just a little bit of space for a selection of different-time-of-year flowering native plants, you would provide much needed food and habitat, eliminate the need for hand pollination, and do something good for the world at the same time.
Great video otherwise!
Thank you great information
Thank you! I’m not much of a gardener and had NO cucumbers or zucchini last year
How do I deal with the borrers? Last year, my first time ever to have some sort of garden) a lot of my baby cucumbers and vines were taken by caterpillars 😢
Omg excellent video, you’ve given me hope for trying to grow cucumbers again this year. Up till now I’ve been totally unsuccessful .
Thanks for the great tips!! Mama gardener with my 2 kidddos here😍 As a Texan in Zone 9a , I'm lucky (not really, rain sucks as much as snow🤦🏾♀️) I can start my cucumber seeds now (Feb.) and succession sow several sets of seeds thru April. Winning 🙌🏾 Happy growing friends!
Great detailed info.
EXCELENTE TRABALHO
Can you plant tomatoes and cucumbers and peppers together? I’m in fl and spread my compost and everything is growing together need to know what to dig up and move. Thank you
Thank you so much. I've started mine to early 🤔 Will try to do better next time 💚🌱💚
4:23 I learned this the hard way. I couldn't understand why the cucumbers kept dying off until I watched your videos. I'm trying again with a parthenocarpic variety in my hydroponic garden & I'm hopeful to actually yield some fruit this time. 4th time's the charm🤞🏾
How do you know which kind of cucumber you have? I'm looking at my packets, and it's not saying any of the words or the type that you have mentioned. I got cucumber pickle Bush. I think it's mini cucumbers for pickling. Will they be okay?Do I have to pollinate them
Awesome video thank you so much
I used to be a cucumber…
I bought some Burpee Muncher cucumber seeds to grow this year. Do you know if they are Parthenocarpic? I’m seeing google say yes, but when I see people growing them(YouTube/ Tiktok videos), some are talking about pollinating them so I wasn’t sure. I absolutely love your channel btw! I’m a new gardener and I’ve learned so much from your videos! Thank you!😊
Thank you very good info!
Excellent Info
Ty! I kept my plants way too long my first year I can't wait for this year
You by far have the most informative, helpful, and easy to understand planting vids out of anyone on youtube. Thanks!
I appreciate you putting the varieties in text on the video.
As always, such great, practical, and informative information that you don't get from most other content creators. Thanks, and well done. 🤘
Cucumbers is something I NEED in the garden this year. Thank you for another great video❤
Thanks!
Let me just say I love how you are straight to the point. It’s all very educational without rambling and I deeply appreciate it.
You are so highly detailed in your knowledge thank you!! Love the Dale!!!
I never start cucumbers…. Easily planted in the ground and mother nature takes care of it from there.
Love your videos. Very informative.
Is there a companion plant that will help with growth even with the parthen….type?
I'm glad I caught this video after watching last year I really wanted to try party time and merlin this year.
