I almost missed this house when driving by because you could barely see it behind the front yard. Luckily, Mrs. SB spotted it so I turned around to check it out. The grass was getting crazy tall and there was so much trash in the front making it look like a dump. I knocked on the door with no answer and assumed it was vacant. So, I went ahead and cleaned it up for the neighborhood so that it doesn’t look horrible for everyone that lives around it.

Boy, do those awnings take me back! My parents had a red brick house that faced west, so they had metal awnings just like the ones on this house. The trim was painted green, so the stripes on the awnings were green instead of red like these are. Those awnings date back to the sixties!
