I have this prayer plant that we give distilled water. Ever since we got it, it has been having these issues but have no idea what could be causing it.
He was in our room which gets good light but possible not enough. Just put him closer to a window to get some brighter light.
Will take any advice!

It looks like it needs more humidity!
This is a Calathea orbifolia.
How often are you watering? Distilled water is a great idea, but these get crispy leaves and it’s something Calathea growers have to accept.
The other commenter suggested higher humidity which would definitely help.
Throwing my calathea in the trash always helps, but in seriousness higher humidity and bright indirect light.
Distilled water is lacking a lot of nutrients. Maybe you need to add some back to the soil. I use a seaweed base fertilizer once a month. Just like you can’t use distilled water in an aquarium because the fish need minerals to survive.
