The last picture is the way it was when I bought it. My husky knocked it over twice and destroyed it. I’ve been trying to grow it back out pretty. I’ve tried the notch method, miracle grow, watering with plant food supplements, I cut off limbs.. it’s stuck in this awkward state and only has grown the three leaves in the middle about two months ago. The damage was done in August. Please give me some suggestions.

Ficus love to be hard pruned. Once you remove all the old stuff it allows the fresh new leaves some energy for growth. If you have not repotted it in a well draining pot with holes it needs good drainage. You can root prune these plants too when they get oversized and you don’t want to keep going up a pot size. Only use a higher nitrogen fertilizer one with a higher first number and low middle number. Time and sunshine now. These are Mexican street plants that grow monster sized.
you have Multiple happy leaves, don’t give up!!
Problem isn’t husky damage but simply lack of light. *F. lyrata* want bright light.
