So this is suuuuper embarrassing… I bought a house last year, it came w this monstera! I don’t have a green thumb, and I figured since the old owners had it outside that it was an outside plant. Definitely should’ve done my research first, but my brother (the one w the self proclaimed green thumb 🙄) also said it was ok! She was SO beautiful in the summer and then in the winter, we left it outside. It doesn’t usually snow in Atlanta, but we got some bad weather this year. Now she looks like this 🫠🫠 Can it come back from this? I know from reading this sub that bringing it inside is probably best going forward. If y’all need more pictures in order to diagnose I can add some later.

Yet another post asking if a probably dead plant can be revived? Yes…it can. You should spend a lot of time, money and effort in trying. It makes far more sense than simply buying a new one. We expect an update with photos.
that is epically dead.
It’s probably gonna take some magick and sacrifice to the plant gods, but you can try.
That thing is so dead it’s rotted and moldy…

The leaves are almost already compost. You’re like 2-3 months late.
You should be reported for plantricide! I would LOVE to see that baby revive!
Oh Jesus I desperately wish either of you had just googled it once or figured that if all the trees die in the winter your tropical plant definitely will 😭
The answer is no that thing is long dead
Yes! Yes, you can! Put it in some water and let it get about 3 hours of partial sun per day. Use a small amount if plant food. And watch it come back to life. I’ve save plants in much worse condition. I once found a 6 foot long yucca plant that somebody had driven over and over again. It was laying in the middle of the road. I imagine the cats going by didn’t try to avoid it. It had maybe six partial leaves on it. I brought it back and it sets in my front yard today.
I’ve seen someone chop off a node that was in soil from a dead plant and it regrew. But this looks worse than that plant did. Probably easier to just buy a new one.
That thing is so dead it voted in 2020
(preemptive note: just shut up it’s a joke)
That plant is with Jesus now.
