Got it as a gift about two months ago. Should I get a different stick to hold it together?
I water it once a week and recently sprayed the leaves 2 days in a row, but the leaves started to brown on the tip.
I would do a repot with a chunky soil mix. You may have to water more than once a week.

Yes, chunky chunky chunky. Sometimes all of the mix ins can get pricey so when in doubt, pick up a bag of orchid mix from nearest big box store and mix a shit ton of orchid bark with a little bit of the peat soil your ppp is in right now, and a little bit of potting mix. The more bark the better, as this aerates it and drains well. Its advised to add nutrients as well whether it be slow release or liquid fertilizer.
Don’t water until the top two inches are dry, this baby loves to rot itself and we can’t let that happen.

As for the stick, you can just go to your nearest grocery store and grab a free pair of chopsticks. Chopsticks work great as small support sticks 🙂
