❤❤❤❤good morning beautiful ❤❤❤❤
Kaye, you are on a roll! Great to see you almost everyday❤.
Hi Kaye, I'm enjoying these motivating talks! I'm getting my seeds out today.
I always soak my seeds before planting as well but just plant directly into my raised beds. I also coat them with an inoculant and some mycorrhizae as well. 2 feet of snow over my beds so won't be for a while yet. Hope you got through the floods ok.
Thank you Kaye
We're going down to -10 deg. tonight!! I was just getting ready to ask you what the difference was between types of peas!! We probably got around 12" of snow yesterday – so I guess no planting for me today LOL! I wonder if the color will change on the eating peas with the brown seeds? Years go, we stored our cat food in a shed and one day I accidentally left the lid off. The next day I went to get cat food and lo and behold there was a mouse in there just happily munching away. I grabbed and cat and said "Go get him!" and threw the cat in the container. The mouse panicked and started running around. The cat sat there, looked at the mouse, then looked up at me as is to say " Yikes! You want me to WHAT?!?!?!?!?" Have a great day!
Please send some prayers. I go to the local feed store to get deer food and the woman there also provides adoptions for kitties. There were two older cats. Terribly heartbroken, one wouldn’t come out of the house until nighttime. I brought bother of these brothers home. Their original owner ruined them, one is way overweight and has peeing issues.. the skinny one, way undernourished is so sick he froths at the mouth which no one could see until I had them with me for over 24 hours. The skinny cat is the sweetest cat, sleeps right next to my shoulder the whole night. The first night he acted crazy, was into everything, the poor thing was starving but with two cats in one enclosure the cat lady wouldn’t be able to monitor. I’m suggesting she just put them down, these poor kitties were just ruined by those who had them the last 5 years. This on top of me having to put down my Harry Houdini three weeks ago due to cancer. It’s been a rough month.. thankful you put together uplifting videos for us to focus on. Thank you Kaye..
Wow that's a lot of peas! Due to my small growing space in planters, I'm lucky if I get a dozen plants. I've heard that some people have had issues with germination of new seeds this year so perhaps planting more would be better just in case. We have a few inches of snow today with more to come so hard to get motivated on planting. Happy planting…
Love seeing more of you! Hope it continues 🙌🏻
I love your pioneer spirit! Love the Kitties! Ugh mice! Need some ferrel cats lol
Just so no confusion edible peas are what are most often known as: Pod Peas, Snap Peas, Sugar Pea, English Peas, or Snow Peas. When I think of "Sweet Peas" I think of the non-edible very beautiful flower. Can't eat that flowering vine at all as it is poisonous. So everyone, do make certain of what you wish to plant – an edible vegetable or a non-edible flower. I know from this video you are planting the type of peas which you wish to eat. Also confusing, the edibles also have flowers but do plant the non-edible Sweet Peas well away from your food crop gardens.
I don’t soak that long 8 hours usually. Love to snack on raw peas in the garden. Very cold and snowy here in Cincinnati! Spring will be here before we know it!! 🌹🥀
