  1. 1:30 lol, I think it's the other way around. Learn the heavy construction skills when you're still relatively youthful; then you can do light maintenance work when you're older.

  2. What a difference pulling out all that brush. Man excavating forsythia is like chasing strings, no fun. And you’re totally right, the time and effort (and trained skill) it takes to put into a project like that, is often times overlooked by people. Damn that timelapse 😂you make it look so easy bro!

  3. Great video bud! I built a set of 20 steps up an old railroad right of way, was challenging and took a while

  4. This job did have a lot of challenges!! I’m looking to install a patio at my house in the spring. I’ve been watching your videos and taking a lot of notes. Our house was just built and the yard is scheduled to be graded in the spring. Do you have any recommendations putting a patio in a just graded yard? Is there some amount of time I need to wait?

  5. That is precisely how I started watching your channel. I had my own project to do and was curious about the open grade base. There was also something oddly satisfying about watching pavers being laid.

  6. I couldn’t thank you guys enough. Like you said there were a lot of small projects with this job. And each individual project was done way beyond expectation man!

  7. Talking about man hours. The one I did with the help of your videos probably took 80-90 man hours for me to do. 3 weekends with Labor Day weekend being one of them. I almost called it quits and hired someone in the beginning but I stuck to it and took my time but spent all my extra hours working on it and it came out amazing. Wish I could send you a pic of it.

  8. Apologies. Canadian here. I will be boycotting your channel by hitting the 'Don't Recommend Channel' Button. Know we did not ask for this either.

  9. Smaller jobs are always a slower job… tighter spaces to get equipment and materials into, need the same amount of equipment to do the job big or small… these are always a treat. 😅
