Hi all, I picked up this plant not long ago with the intention to revive it but realised that I’m not sure where to start 😅
Is this plant revivable or is it completely gone?
What steps should I take to revive it?
I know that I definitely need to cut the buds and leaves but I’m not sure if I’m supposed to cut everything or cut a few inching from the soil.
I also know that I will need to replace the soil as mold has began to grow, then maybe treat the new soil I put in?
I’m currently leaving the plant in the plastic and ceramic pot to (I guess) dry out as I’m pretty sure it’s been overwatered.
I poured some water into the plant before I brought it home (because I thought it needed water) and kind of forgot about it 🫣
I think the plant gets good lighting, tho is not kept by a window, just a bright room (my conservatory). I’m thinking of moving it to my living room or an office space once it’s revived (if it can be)
Any help would be much appreciated, also can this all be done with home remedies or does dedicated store brought solutions need to be done?
(I scanned this plant and the plant parent app says it’s a tea-scented rose)

After a bit of research, I don’t think I’ll need to repot the plant and change the soil because of the mold?
I think I’ll just remove the decaying leaves. But I’m still not sure how much of the stem I should cut off of the plant 🫤
I think there might still be hope for this plant
Take all dead leaves off the top of the soil. Cut off all dead flowers. I’d say prune back to where you can find healthy shoots or green stems
This plant appears to be on life support. If you prune it, I definitely wouldn’t up pot it the next day or even the next week. I’m wondering if the overwatering caused this plant to lockout from elevated pH. Are you just trying to revive this plant for fun?
