Winter Storm Garden Damage: Did the Plants Survive ?

It is days after the polar vortex dropped ice and snow on my area. Temperatures are still abnormal, in the 40s during the day and 20s at night. Snow and ice are melting. How did the garden survive? In this video, you and both find out together.

We’re seeing shortages of basic items, with food being among them. I hope this video inspires and makes others realize that growing food in a suburban setting can be done. The backyard grocery store never has empty shelves! Happy Gardening!

  4. I hope so, same kind of storm last December in Italy. Like 184 and thank you very much for this video that I enjoyed until the end, as always and with pleasure! Congratulations!
    Best regards from Italy!

  5. So glad your garden survived the freeze 🥶 and snow ❄️. My garden did really well also. Thank you for sharing 💚

  6. Here’s hoping that everything will be able to continue to withstand the freeze. Everything looks good. I think that you may get another broccoli head. Yes the leaves are delicious. I like the stems as well. Great job on your hard work ❤.

  7. I can’t believe you got that much snow and job well done Moses, you are one of the best. Thanks for sharing and hope you have a blessed rest of the week my friend.

  8. Good evening Moses, hoping the weather goes back to normal for sure, no more snow or freezes. Plants are resilient, they want to grow and produce. Take care and stay warm.

  9. You have a very nice garden sorry about the ice i have to put up with the ice sometimes in South Australia i love Swiss chard as it decreases the risk of obesity, diabetes, heart disease and overall mortality and promotes a healthy complexion, increased energy, and overall lower weight.
