Just in case I didn’t mess it up entirely, is there anything I could do to improve the success chance? Does it need humidity like for seedlings on peres, or would it be a risk for rot/fungus? If yes, would that work? With the bag closed?
A positive attitude will take you a lot further than you’d think. Looks good to me!

Tell yourself every day when you check on it for new growth, “I did a good job. I’m happy and grateful that my graft was a success!” Don’t keep thinking you failed that is the first step to failing. Worst case scenario you have to cut again and retry in the near future. They are very resilient they will be okay!
