Because peace lillies are the most dramatic plants known to mankind?
How often are you watering? Did you recently repot or move the plant? Is that its permanent spot or did you move it for the photo? (Could be either not enough light or too much light.)

I started watering mine with dechlorinated water. It’s been 6 months and no brown tips on any new leaves. I’ll know for sure if it worked for trues in another six months.
Edit: This is in reference to the brown tips, not brown spots in the middle pic.

Seems to me it only happens to the old leaves? They are just done 🙂just cut them away so your plant doesnt waste more energy on them.

Plants are much more susceptible to root rot in the winter months. It could be a deficiency but the first thing that comes to mind for me is overwatering. I’d adjust your watering schedule.

I’m following this too as my beautiful peace lily took a turn for the worse – brown wilty leaves.

When was the last time it was fertilized? How often do you fertilize?
How often do you water?
When was the last repot?
I think you have two things going on along with it being ready for a prune (yes you prune the older/lower leaves):
Chemical burn
Overwatering

Are those bugs of some sort all over the leaves?

I have found them to be SUPER finicky about light. Indirect bright light not indirect enough or bright enough 😝 Try moving it?
