  1. How are your raised beds holding up to the rain and winter storms? Hang in there, gardeners – spring's coming! -CaliKim & CameraGuy

  2. Great job, CameraGuy!!! I'm sure that project was a bit of a pain but I'm so glad that you guys are getting some much-needed rain! Hopefully this will help balance everything out and we can all look forward to a great growing season this spring and summer!

  3. Great job. Looks nice. You guys got the much needed rain and I got the snow. I had to shovel 4 times the other day. Your garden is coming together for a new growing season 🌱😊

  4. The radish seeds I planted are starting to sprout. The weather forecast has changed for the worse, with temps down to 16F on Feb 20 and 21F for Feb 21. I'll have to cover all of the seeded beds with 6 mil plastic for those two days. I am going to wait a few more days before planting snow peas and shelling peas. My dill and amaranth seedlings have graduated, and are now outside getting used to the weather. So far, everything is on schedule for my 2025 garden. Next on my to do list, is up potting Jolene tomato, Big Red bell pepper, and Sweet Banana pepper seedlings.
Net Zero in the Wild Wild West has gone out to my ARE team, and is all set for a book launch on February 22. I am slightly over halfway finished with writing Net Zero Star Crossed. I'd be further along, but I had to go back and make some changes which involved a lot of rewriting. I decided that instead there only being two people aboard a spaceship designed for a crew of ninety-three, I'd rewrite the scenes to have it fully crewed.

  5. A stitch in time saves nine! Great job, you two! Woot! Happy Valentine's Day!💕 Hugs to Mac♥💖💜

  6. Nice save from what could have been a disaster and a loss of a lot of hard work and time. For what it is worth, this is an illustrative video for things to watch out for in the landscape. In our case, we have a sloped backyard that is all grass. Nowhere near as steep, but there is mostly limestone in the soil; therefore, drainage is poor. I had been considering a "raised garden area" over the native "soil", but it is rain washouts like this that give me pause.

  7. @CaliKim29 1:40 WOW folks! That landscape board is but a shell of it's former self! So glad you got that replaced.

Super happy to see actual RAIN FALLING!!! YYYEEEEAAAAAYYYYYYY!!! HUGE CONGRATS!🎉🎉🎉🎉

  8. Nice repair, just happen to have some lumber on hand? That could have been a real mess if you did not get er done.
Mother nature has a way to force us into action.
    Stay Well & Dry !!!!!

  9. So your last name is really MacGyver? Seriously, you fixed what could have been a total disaster. Amazing. Stay safe during these rains and give Mac a scritch for me.
