This yard was wild! The grass was so long it was literally growing through the trees—Mother Nature had really taken over. But don’t worry, Tim the Lawnmower Man and Greg were on the case for another Free Mow Fridays transformation!

With the whippers in overdrive and the mowers chewing through the jungle, this one turned into an ultra-satisfying clean-up. Oh, and just to keep things interesting, there was a vicious-looking dog next door keeping an eye on us the whole time—talk about high-stakes mowing!

If you are interested in any of the equipment I’m using, check out my new page Turf and Tools https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOeLjNpoL7WLq_oBku3dL1Q where I review equipment that I am sent and use. If you’d like to send something for me to show, send me an e-mail timthelawnmowerman@gmail.com

Hi! My name is Tim The Lawnmower Man and I love to clean up overgrown yards and make fun videos doing it. I’m able to do them for free as these videos have ads on them and the revenue from that enables me to cover my cost.

I’m always looking for the worst yards around. Sometimes I drive around looking for them, sometimes viewers send me suggestions.

  1. I can’t believe you left that monstrosity in the back corner of that fence. It’s not like you could kill it but you could have taken a lot more of it down……….

  2. Absolutely enjoy watching you redo these yards! The amount of time and energy you put into them is incredible.
On a side note, how many hours of use do you get out of the battery trimmer? Thanks.

  3. That back yard turned out looking like a nice spot to sit outside in, with a wee bit more character than just a massive boring lawn. Leaving some of the crazy stuff in the corner could add to that (you'd have a fit if you saw the amount of ivy I leave on my fence, it's quite the ecosystem!). Great job guys. Maybe not your favourite, but I thought it was a really satisfying transformation.

  4. Why would you not completely remove all the vines from the fence before it starts growing all through the grass after killing the tree in the corner? And why would you want the invasive vine to "bounce back", totally don't understand why you would not remove it all and do all the neighbours a very good deed?

  5. Great job Tim those John Kavli Finisha blades are awesome I have been using them for over 5 years nothing comes close to them for grass that is about 30cm long. From my understanding they were designed for that length for a finishing touch. Beast blades for anything taller.

  6. Brilliant job guys. Always going above and beyond. Pat yourselves on the back. Love your videos ! 😊

  8. Hi Tim and Greg
Love your strong willed strong to get a great job done on the lawns you do.
The black insects in the lower part of the long grass are baby grasshopper who love eating grass in/on the outskirts of Sydney.
They are mainly in the grass and love travelling in summer.
Like your videos very much and Greg is a great worker too.

  9. Another fabulous transformation, video/jobs Tim and Greg 👍🏻💯😇😇 I'm almost sure that breed of dog is banned here in UK but just glad you guys didn't have a close encounter with it😧 Have a wonderful day Tim and Greg ❤

  10. The GRAND MASTER at work …so enjoyable to watch how you perfectly manicure those edges. The dynamic duo at it again. That was a mammoth task in that back yard. Well done mateys. Just as an aside, I was surprised that hedges by the front steps, how you trimmed the second and third hedges but did not trim the first. Very out of character for you Timbo lol. As usual though the rest was beautifully transformed. Cheers

  11. Great work Tim and Greg, beautiful property, but very unkept, my gosh so much trash, you guys did a wonderful job on that property, I love the way Tim works no stone left unturned, he pays attention to every detail is like Art to Him, 👍🏾 up to you guys

  12. WOW!!! What a huge accomplishment! It’s like a whole different place. Couldn’t believe that mountain was a tree!!! Awesome find! I loved how the little dog never gave up! Lol. Had his eye (ear) on you! Thanx for the video. One of my favs.

  13. That was a conquering! Those new blades are irreplaceable. Usually the mower just lays the grass down, but those blades cut it. Unbelieveable! This was an unusually excellent video all around. Great attention to detail. I may watch it again. 😆

  14. Tim, you left this place picture perfect! I appreciate your attention to detail.
This place looks like a model home now that you've finished!
Keep up the great work and pay no mind to the haters.

  15. Hi Tim. You do an awesome job. But I’d like to ask you something regarding your equipment. I recently purchased one of those little (battery operated) hand shears and I’m a bit uncertain on how often I need to clean it and sharpen the little blades. Would you be able to do a quick video if possible on how you maintain your equipment, please would be greatly appreciated as I am the one who mows my lawn and tends to my garden😊

  16. That was a good one! Great work front and back. Appreciated the liberation of the lemon tree! Kudos to the owner for moving their stuff to the drive so that you could get directly to work on the lawn. That was very considerate of them and cut down some of the work you often have to do. Stay safe all! 😊

  17. A few days late watching this, but what a mighty effort from you both! The place now looks immaculate! I've even seen Kikuyu climbing up power poles, the rotten stuff – it IS extremely susceptible to Roundup though. Glad you bit back at the sad person who didn't even listen to your explanation of why you left that creeper in the back corner. It was pretty obvious the fence would fall over if the stuff was removed and that it was coming from a neighbour's yard.

Oh, and can I say that Greg is looking SO much fitter than when he started with you – all that hard work is obviously doing him good.

  18. Your eirk was phenomenal! Anazing transfirnation. Sad to think that, in three years or so, this property will probably look much like it did at the beginning of the video. The homeowner didn't even bother to truly clear the property of debris.
