I know this looks so crazy 😅 but I rescued this alocasia corm/stem from rot. It has no roots, but is fully dry and calloused over and has lots of lateral buds and green growth. Tons of top growth too. What now?

Damp sphagnum moss? If so, should I plant upright or horizontal? How deep? Currently being kept dry and warm and in medium light. Obviously no water. It has been stable for weeks.

I’m here for the ideas. Currious as to what can you do with this

I would do sphagnum and plant it upright because that’s the way it’s growing. No expertise involved in my suggestion, just going off vibes lol. What a cool find!!

I have had success re-rooting stems and corms in a 50:50 mix of perlite and sphagnum. I would do upright!
