I’m so jealous of all your beautiful snow!!! Your property is just full of Winter interest.
Good morning Laura, you & Aaron had a lot of energy doing a lot of things,i'm so jealous tho😅
Good job Samantha!
How beautiful, the snow is a blessing.
The bread looked delicious 😋 I love it when you share your recipes.
I can almost smell the bread! Maybe because I make something similar. Three cups either AP flour or Bread flour (I use whatever I have on hand) 1tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp quick rise yeast….mix together then add 1 1/2 cups warm water and stir until combined. Cover and proof for 1 to 2 hours. After initial proof turn onto well floured counter, shape into smooth ball, place on parchment paper in bowl (I have a high heat silicone strap for bread baking that works great too) and let rise another 30 minutes or so. During this time heat covered, empty dutch oven at 450degrees. After 2nd proof lift parchment paper with dough on it into Dutch oven. (If you’d like a crispier crust put an ice cube in back of parchment paper away from dough) Steam from cube makes crust crispy…..Bake with lid for 30 minutes, then without lid for additional 10.
I’ve added cheese and herbs to this dough ( 1 c Gruyère & mixed herbs ) and it’s yummy. Going to try the recipe Laura used…they’re all so good. Perfect with a bowl of homemade soup after shoveling snow! I’d encourage anyone to try baking bread and not be afraid. It’s worth the effort!
I love when you cook.🥰
The seedlings are doing sooo good. I love little Samantha just pops in and helps. Cuuuuute.
I loved it all! Hello geraniums it is good to see you again. Wonderful bread! Lots of beautiful seedlings! Clean snow!
This was another enjoyable video. I have seedlings to pot up also. Thanks to you and Aaron, I learned about Mountain Crest garden succulents and received my order last Saturday. I was looking for pottery on this snowy day and just ordered from Ben Wolff. His pottery comes with a sealed saucer with felt pads. I thought of how you have stated that you would like pots that come with saucers, and these do!
Ahhh…opening the greenhouse door abs be greeted with such colorful beauty..spring in the middle if winter. Always enjoy how much excitement and pleasure you show and express with each new seedling/plant growth. It's so sweet to hear Samantha's excitement when helping..think she comes by it naturally!! You're willingness to stop and teach with patience is always good to see. Nothing better than fresh bread straight from the oven with butter!
She said Russell's watching me, didn't she? The words on the screen said "blossom" 😂😂😂
I wish I had some of that bread! Thanks for showing how to transfer new seedlings to next pots.
Laura, you are always so sweet and pleasant in your videos, but today, you seem extra joyful!♡ Your seedlings are coming right along, and it's always so amazing to me how fast they grow when you pot them and give their roots that extra space!♡ Enjoy your snow… we are frigid here in MN🥶
Your green stalks in the greenhouse look productive!
Good morning!🌻🐝
Laura, gardening has a lot to do with cooking. I don't mind cooking being in the mix. I've been looking forward to this bread recipe since you mentioned it. I love love love bread!!
❤😊
Thank you
I can’t figure out why your cats don’t chew on your plants in the greenhouse. My orange tabby will chew on any plant he can reach in our home. Bought some tulips last week and sure enough I found chewed marks on the leaves. He didn’t get sick & they’re toxic. Now all my plants are out of his reach.
Beautiful plants, your such an inspiration. Question. If the soil was frozen and then thawed , would it be too cold for the seedlings? Should I check the temperature of the soil first? Love your videos ❤ thank you
I prefer the baking Over seed starting!!! 🥖🥖🍞🍞
