I have loved finding your channel and binging your videos the last month. Because Of you, I have all my milk jugs sitting out in the snow up here in Michigan, with nothing but potential exploding from inside of them :). Thank you for making these videos
I've got 19 jugs mostly the flowers you loved, but am so glad to see which vegetables and I want herbs too. Thanks! I'm super proud xcit d but need more jugs!!!!
Another amazing video!!!!
Thank you! I am using American seeds and seeds from the free heirloom seeds website to grow a garden on a budget this year
I have trellis my melons last year and when they grew to a certain size I supported them with a mesh and it kept the vines in control.
I love Swiss Chard. Where I live in Idaho zone 7 it seems to be a perennial for some of the plants but reseeds very easy.. We have Family Dollar here and so far I haven't seen any seeds there. I have about 40 jugs winter sown so far. Thanks for your channel. It keeps me encouraged. Can't wait to see how things grow this year.
Hi Kim 🌺.My father used to grow all these vegetables. As for zucchini, we grow like the type corsa f1 . I also grow these vegetables. Fried okra tastes delicious with bread. You can also fry it and put it on top of fried onions, garlic and meat, or you can without meat. Add water with salt, English pepper, cinnamon, a spoonful of chicken bouillon powder and add tomato jam until it boils, then serve it with rice. Another way is to sauté onions in olive oil with chopped tomatoes, add fried okra, salt, English pepper and cinnamon. Enjoy! . Have a great day .🌻🌺🌻
I’m so curious to see how the pinto beans 🫘 grow!
Another great video Kim! I LOVE gardening on a budget! Dollar Tree makes that possible. Thanks for the inspiration!!! 💙💚💛🧡💜 Liz
New subscriber from Central Louisiana here! Thank you for sharing!
You can plant the dry beans you get at the store. They will grow fine.
thanks for the video. i enjoyed it very much. i am going to dollor tree tomorrow and get some more seeds. thanks for sharing with us. hope you have a great week!!!
Can’t wait to see the process!
I love your videos and your information. Thank you.
I ❤ Swiss chard!
I am very interested in the germination rate and true to variety results of the veggie seeds you've grown? Especially tomatoes and peppers – the high value crops that you only get one shot at starting and growing. I agree with leafy veggies and flowers it doesn't matter much.
Do you winter sow all of these? Corn, tomatoes, squash, and melons?
Verbena seeds needs darkness to sprout, that’s what my instructions states on the back of the packet.❤
Hi Kim. My father and I are out here in Grays Creek NC near Hope Mills and Fayetteville in Cumberland County. Wondering where you are. We have been talking about starting a food garden – we do the inedibles already. We are both senior and our back yard is often spongy creating a fall risk for both of us. I am thinking of investing in containers for gardening but – that will be a bit of an investment. Still – to get fresh produce it may well be worth it. Especially now. Just finished with our privacy fence. My Father and Mother lived here 18 years without a fence. I wanted to put some built in bookcases in one of the rooms but given the changes happening thought it better to enclose our property behind a fence. We have subscribed to your channel. I have been wanting to plant a self pollinating crab apple on the property but unsure if it will do well. It says zone 3-9. But our peach trees haven’t done super well. We have a pine break that we may need to trim out to let more sun in. What do you think about the crab apple here in 8a?
I love dollar tree seeds. I’ve been having no luck with my squash and zucchini for the past several years because of the squash vine borer. I’m in Northern Virginia. Do you have that problem in your area?
