I don’t have any other details about the applications except for the name.
Is there anything I should ask?
Are these common applications?
Should they be giving me more details on what exactly the application is?
It’s a well known company in my area so I should trust that each application is important, I think.

This forum is going to highly encourage you to do it yourself. You’ll get more learning, more control over your lawn, and the “ceiling” of your lawn would be higher vs paying someone. Reading the guides on this forum will get you into that upper tier lawn by itself. That being said, if the alternative is doing nothing, then paying someone to at least do something is probably better than nothing.
If you’re already set on paying someone, I would ask what specific products they are putting down, what concentration, and at what frequency. If it is only the five applications listed above, one each per year, that isn’t enough. If it’s just for summer (3 months), it might be “enough”.
Even if you wind up paying someone, read the guides as it covers a lot more than just what to throw down on the lawn (other cultural practices, watering, mowing, etc). That is just as important (if not more) than these applications.
Initial investment can be costly, but then, as stated already, you wont need to spend over $100 all season if you DIY. Plus the satisfaction of “I did that” is priceless. Is there more to that quote than the prices you can show?
Whats the size of the lawn? Whats in the applications? Since there is a application that specifies weed control, will weed control not be performed on the other applications? Is fertilizer included?
To somewhat answer your question,
IF it includes fertilizer, weed control and insect control (if needed) on each application is inlcuded and the lawn is around 10-12k sqft. $108 is a fair price to have a company do it.
Another DIY vote here…lol
Get past the initial investment, and it’s way cheaper in the long run, and satisfying to admire your own work..
The only ap I wouldn’t do myself is the insect ap. For grubs and other pest. The commercial stuff just seems to do a much better job imo
Going to go against the flow here.
If you don’t know what you’re doing, hiring it out is a good idea.
We pros know what we’re doing. And we do it for about the same price that it would be to DIY.
