I’ve had my snake plant for years and it’s never given me trouble until recently I noticed some of its leaves were dying. Gets average sunlight and water every two-ish weeks to almost a month depending on the season. I pulled one of the leaves and the bottom part (that was in soil) is completely dried out/white. Please advise 😅

All of mine are doing this also, some I’ve had for years, would love to see this answered!
Without any more information there is nothing I can say other than it *looks* like it’s rotted from the roots
This happens most often as a result of overwatering, considering you mentioned watering it sparingly it’s probably not this
In that case it’s most likely a bacterial or fungal infection of the root tissue
Could you give more details? You pull a leaf out and it’s white and dried? How about the others? Surely a plant after years would have more than 1-2 leaves? Are they all doing that? When you watered, how do you do it? Soak and dry? If just based on photo, then yeah probably disease/fungal infections. But if you rarely water it (every few weeks) and only give it a cup of water, then it probably dehydrated to the point of shriveling to nothing.
It looks like root rot , try pulling the dead leaf and see the underside.
I’ve had plants sudden do this if they are too cold or if they are directly in front of a heater.
Does the soil drain well, how long has it been in the pot and soil. It might be overwatering, they are native to tropical South Africa, cold nights, hot days. They need light and not much water when they live in pots.
