Join me on this fascinating journey as I share what happened when I stopped mowing my lawn and let nature take its course. I was inspired by the no mow movement and its potential to create a habitat garden, teeming with life and biodiversity. As I stopped maintaining my lawn in the traditional sense, I started to notice an influx of beneficial insects and volunteer plants, transforming my outdoor space into a thriving ecosystem. This hands-off gardening approach not only reduces maintenance but also promotes ecological balance and supports local wildlife. By embracing the beauty of an unmowed lawn, I’ve created a pollinator garden that’s become a haven for bees, butterflies, and other insect allies. Take a stroll with me through my wild garden and discover the wonders that unfold when we let nature reclaim its space. Learn how you can create your own sustainable lawn and contribute to habitat restoration, one unmown blade of grass at a time.

  1. Be sure to keep it all contained! You might be inadverantly starting invasive populations. On a side note your makeup is so cute!!!

  2. Also, if you know the native species in your area, just rip that crab grass right out and get those beauties in there! More critters will come round and it'll make your place a bit of a haven!
