Okay, all my Japanese Maple fans… I’ve got so many Japanese maple trees that it’s time to start planting our very own Japanese maple tree forest. In this video, we’ll use the CAT mini excavator to prep the land by adding some of our compost to the native soil. Then we’ll be ready to get started on this EPIC gardening project! I love Japanese Maples. My Dad.has a tree that seeds and we gather hundreds of seedling every year. Non grafted of course but they grow beautiful. I have probably 50 trees that are 30+ years old and are beautiful. We give many many trees away every year. Trees Rock.

I planted my first Japanese maple two years ago in the front yard! I resisted for years because nurseries wanted way to much for such a small tree! I found one on clearance and snapped it up! I could never understand why these little suckers are so darn expensive!

Stick your hands in the compost and hold it to your nose and take a deep breath and think back to the truckload of eggs that made the compost smell so good 😂😂😂

Pant yourself also a bamboo plant. Phyllostachys vivax aureocaulis has beautiful culmns.

Don't forget to draw up a planting plan so you know what went in where, as labels don't last forever.
I need to rescue a Japanese maple from my late brother's house before we sell it.
I gave it to him in 1991 but it's still only 5' tall.
I guess it depends on whether it rooted out of the buried container.
