I'm really proud of this sad little structure. My starts outgrew the lid for the tray way faster than I expected (it's my first time starting seeds indoors) and so my partner and I built this today.

We used wood from a pallet and pex pipe, plus the hardware to keep it all together, and a roll of plastic, under $35 all said and done.

The seed trays are on a heat pad with a generic miracle grow bulb roughly 8 hours a day. I have a small battery fan aimed away from the plants to keep the air circulated, with the plan to charge the fan at night when the light is off.

It's all experimental and we accept it might be a total failure, as I said I've never started seeds indoors, so I'd love kind feedback/critique, pointers, compliments, etc.

No input here but waiting for it, love the idea and practicality however I’m more than a novice so idk

It should work. I rigged one up a few years ago and I still use it. I used a clear shower curtain because I wanted to be able to see the plants. Not perfect but if it works, it works.
