  1. Yesterday My family lost a good family member of ours and I'm really hurting right now as soon as my family so please pray for me and my family thank you 🙏

  2. My sweet mother-in-law took apart her ten year old melton wool coat and sewed it back together inside out. She said the only thing unusual was that now the buttons were on the opposite side (left vs right), but it lasted another ten years.

  3. Please use spell check on your thumbnail headlines. You're too good a creater to have people turned off by misspelling "controversial."

  4. Solarpanels on houses, roof-gardens and greenhouses on top of highrise buildings are some of the things we do in urban areas here in DK😊

  5. My husband with 4 children rented an Amish house for over 3 years, you have to replace the battery every couple of years. With 4 batteries we payed nearly 2000 thousand dollars. And that’s not all the cost, you will spend hundreds of dollars per week if the sun isn’t shining to run the generator. When we finally purchased a house with electricity we were so happy our electric bill was anywhere from 130 dollars to 150. That was 4 years ago. Also for anyone info we had electricity providers calling us to switch to solar electricity. We were considering it then we read the fine print it said our electricity would be considerably more to switch to solar.
I appreciate your frugality and I enjoy watching your videos, but to this I have to say that’s not a good choice.

  6. We finally cut our $230 cable bill. We bought a $30 antenna and get about 15 clear channels and a bought a firestick and use only the free apps. Theres still so much to watch and we got used to it after about a week and never looked back. Wish we did it years ago.

  7. I have 2 extra bedrooms ( empty nest) and installed a clothesline in one, last month my power bill dropped by over $100. I track my monthly bills for multiple years. If I need to run my heating system I don’t need to run my dryer!! It’s my $100 don’t wanna give it away!

  8. If you have public transportation available it can save you a bundle. Even if it costs a bit more than the gas you'd burn. You should consider the total allocated cost. The IRS figures 70 cents per mile, the AAA a bit more.

  9. Living in a warmer climate, I repurposed several of my long sleeved tops that I do not wear very often by cutting off the sleeves to make them short sleeved. Using a twin needle works great for knit fabric tops. If I find a long sleeved top at a thrift store that I like, no problem, just shorten the sleeves.

  10. That was a good book. Repurposing old things? Reminds me of the Carol Burnett skit about Gone With The Wind…..😁. Thank you for your video. I always enjoy listening to you. You are very upbeat. 🎉
