Mealy bugs. Q tip dipped in rubbing alcohol to kill them. Then insecticidal soap

[Here’s](https://www.reddit.com/u/charlypoods/s/fB8XxJWjCY) my mealybug treatment protocol I’ve been updating and fine tuning for the last few months. It has been called an aggregation of many methods, so i guess hopefully at least one or two can be applicable for you. It’s really thorough I think and I really do believe in the step by step nature of it. I am always trying to make it more user friendly, accurate, and readable, so it is always a work in progress. If you have any questions, suggestions, or critiques please lmk!

I’m so sorry. Use a small paint brush )more effective than a q-tip) to generously paint isopropyl alcohol over every single surface of the plant, front & back, nook & cranny. Immediately spray/rinse off the distilled water as the full strength alcohol will harm your plants cuticle if left on.
From then on, mix 3:1 alcohol to water ratio in a mister bottle and saturate each part of the plant every 3 days for a month or two. Leave it on, but try to do it at night so there’s no light beating on it while it’s still wet
