Recently moved and this guy has been struggling. I water when the soil is nearly bone dry and leave in indirect sunlight. Used to have it in direct sunlight but assumed it was being scorched. Unsure if that is the case.
Is that a Juniper? If so watering and light requirement needs to completely opposite funnily enough.
In my experience keeping the soil moist (not completely soaked) and the plant outside where it is able to get proper air flow and sun is what is going to help it thrive.
Leaving it inside with no water + no air + no sun = dead
YMMV, but when I had mine in South Texas during the hot seasons I watered a little bit every day and cut back to about once a week or so during cold seasons.
