In this video I build a DIY smokeless firepit out of stone and concrete with matching stone benches and an LED lit giant flagstone patio. This narrated asmr video shows every step from digging the patio bed and preparing the base with aggregates, creating a round concrete mold, applying a limestone veneer, cutting and laying oversize flagstone, adding led strip lighting and testing out the smokeless fire. This video was produced over 2 months working part time and cost around $10,000 Cad.

  1. Thanks for watching! What should I build in my parent's backyard next year? Golf Green?? Cabana?? Bunker?? Space launch pad??

  2. Mulch glue!? I didn’t realize that was a thing. Excellent. More things for my hubby to look for. Thanks!

  3. You are the man, Drew!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing your projects. We live in a rural country setting between Charleston & Hilton Head South Carolina. We have been trying warm our bones after the unusual winter snow storm hit us. It’s almost gone, and hopefully it will quickly get back to the t-shirt temps . Well, I can hardly wait to show my hubby this awesome project, and I will let you know how it turns out.😃. God bless!

  4. wow so amazing congratulations!! what is the name of the rock that you are using in the fire pit? looks so great. thank you!

  5. I loved the lighting! It added a nice touch to the build. Ever think about an above ground pound? I built one years ago with a setting wall as a top. Bet with lights it would be awesome!!

  6. This is really nice. Just a minor suggestion for people to consider. I would edge this not with the plastic rolls, but instead use cobblestone "Belgian Block". The jumbo-sized blocks do not wiggle once set into the soil, and look more natural than the plastic (which tends to work it's way out of the soil with foot traffic tripping on it). Belgian block is definitely more expensive, but it's a nice tie-in with the natural stone around the pit,

  7. Very smart, but at nearly 30 you say and struggling. I'm 48, work is better than any gym. Jason the stone masons, Australia

  8. You work a lot with dust. Those masks and even rebreathers do not work if you do not have a perfect seal around your face….. A beard makes it impossible to have one, so for your safty, you have to remove the hair where the mask goes on the skin, or use a full face mask…

  9. you're pretty brave to be putting those lights so close to the firepit. I'd be worried about them melting or being damaged by the heat.

  10. I’m so very pleased I found your channel. Absolutely amazing. Do you even realize how brilliant you are? This video held my attention from the beginning to end, Step by Step you clearly told me what my options were. The veneer stones are really eye catching. Thank you for producing such a fantastic detailed film. Btw.. I agree with @WickedDEbeats you should definitely have millions more views. 💥 Congratulations Drew you are a Star🌟

  11. It's a pleasure seeing all your hard work come to fruition. Im trying to do your Patio project, but you didn't upload the plans, OH and I'm buying your Merch just to support all your hard work, and the shirts not bad lol..
