We had a couple trees removed, we are in Manatee county and they were damaged from the hurricanes.
The skid steer really did a number on the grass in between my house and my neighbors.
Is there any way to fix this besides replacing with new sod? This area between the houses always seems to be kinda soggy.
We are going to fix whatever needs to be done as it is technically our fault this happened.

Take a pitchfork, stab it all the way in the ground, then gently raise the ground. Do this from each side then go down the middle of the rut doing the same thing. Topdress with sand to level out

Fix the drainage so it’s no longer a soggy spot

It’ll grow back but I like the pitchfork idea. You probably need to address the drainage to avoid future flooding though.

Why, on earth, would you think that *sod* is the answer for this??
