When I found her she was dying, I changed her soil and took good care of her… and she still wasn’t recovering, so I started talking to her, and you know what? began to “revive.” Do you talk to your plants?

  1. When my peace Lilly is a lil bitch again after I forgot to water her the exact second she needed it, I tell her that.

  2. Ok yes. I tell my mom this all the time! I talk to my plants every day — I ask them how they’re doing and what they need. I think growing plants has less to do with having a green thumb, and more to do with having an empathetic heart. Congrats on your revival!

Yes, I talk to my plants all the time. When a teen I used to place my tomato plants in front of the stereo’s floor speaker & played classical music to them. They seemed to like it & grew nicely.

I do. And I feel they love it. Every time I’m in CVS and they have plants, half dead, I will buy and save them, and they flourish! They become beautiful, hearty, happy babies.
