Hoping to see a moose one day on one of my New England vacations! Something I’d like to check off my bucket list!
I enjoy your Wintery stories and to learn new candle making techniques! Your wooded area is beautiful! Thanks for sharing your garden ideas! ❤🪴☕️🕯️❄️🫎😊
All of your visions sounds wonderful. Will be watching your progress through the spring and summer.
Carla, thank you for another enjoyable video. I look forward to them each week; making Sundays even better. Your filming of your snow-covered property was beautiful. You have a knack for picking instrumental music that highlights your presentations. I loved seeing the birds and animal tracks in the snow. It is amazing how God cares for them. How much more He loves and cares for us! I can't believe that you came face-to-face with a moose in your drive way! Do you know if they are as aggressive as bears? You were brave. Every once in awhile we hear about a fox or coyote making its way into New York City 🏙️ How did it get here? Lol. Your ideas for a perrenial garden sounds great. I am only familiar with growing mums, day lilies, and phlox. I don't know if they are deer resistant. Looking forward to next week's video. God bless you and all your plans and endeavors. Robert
We got our first real winter snow like yours yesterday. My yard is a highway for squirrels, deer and winter birds like your cardinals. I think your ideas for a woodsy hidden cutting flowerbed near a tucked in she-shed is wonderful. This is the time for winter/summertime dreaming… Hope it comes together with time. Love the candle making. Enjoy your week, Carla.
Good morning Carla and happy ground hog day enjoying your video from canada
Hi Carla, great video!! I just bought a candle lamp, but I haven't opened it up yet, now I'm excited to do so! Have a great week!

By the way, hello Carla. Thank you for the video.
A moose, yikes 😂!!!! Well, I guess that’s better than a bear 🤷🏻♀️😁. Glad he turned around and went on his merry way 😁.
Hi, the flower garden would be beautiful! Lots of sun you’ll enjoy this. Looking forward to seeing all your fines next weekend.
Always look forward to your videos, be careful around those candle warmers,if you have children or cats that could tip it over, even though it doesn’t have a flame it still has hot wax,
Nothing prettier than seeing a cardinal perched on a snow covered branch! Looking forward to seeing your treasures next week. Have a good week, Carla.
👍♥️♥️
That's a great place for a cute little she shed with a cutting garden beside it, and of course you would need a picket fence around it, just sayin. 😊 Have a great week, Carla.
Hi Carla ! beautiful snow fall and walk in the woods. How many acres do you have ? My brother had 13 and he said a lot of work to keep it cleared! Having a flower garden is on my list too ! Moose are huge , that would make you shake! Have a joyful week . Paula
Peonies! I love peonies. They are gorgeous as cut flowers and I think they may be deer resistant. Columbine will drop seed and spread that way, and I think Penstemon is pretty. When we lived in Hooksett, about 25 years ago, we had moose that would visit every once in a while. I doubt there are any there anymore as it is so built up now. I have raised beds and love them. They are so easy to maintain. I grow edibles and flowers in them.
Your wooded area is beautiful! It makes me miss a home I had several years ago in northern NY with lots of woods and snow. It would be fun if you had a trail cam to see what animals are walking around at night.
Love the winter walk! 💕
Hi Friend, I think that’s a great idea to put a flower garden in that area. Nothing more satisfying than cutting fresh flowers from your garden. One of my favorites is cosmos, but I don’t know if they are deer resistant or not. Anyway, it will be fun to watch things grow. Happy week❤
I guess that it was a cardinal that was pretty in the branches. Lovely. And the candle lamp would be a great idea for people like me who get busy with 3 or 4 tasks and forget that they have a candle lit. Or the cat walks by and swishes her tail into the flame…yikes.
Good morning Carla!! We both have this in common—-the warm scent of candles—-this is such a treat and many thanks for showing us all how to make candles for our home!!! Have a wonderful week ahead!!!
You really live on a beautiful piece of property! We have no cardinals in Western Washington so seeing the one in your bushes was a treat. I have a huge deer problem. Some things they haven't eaten are black eyed susans(I think that is rubecia)' dahlias, helebores, and various herbs and salvias. I hope that helps a bit.
That candle lamp is very pretty, but I am a little confused as to why it is electric. Do you Bern the candle when it is on?
