  1. Thank you so much for such a mesmerizing video. I was totally absorbed into it. It's your team's greatness that you explore and showcase the tourism perspective of each direction of Japan…

  2. Kagoshima was the first city I have visit in Japan. Best to do is taking the ferry to Yakushima.

  3. I fondly remember Kyushu. Very chilled people, fantastic scenery and some of the best food I have ever tasted!

  4. I love your videos. One thing that makes me nervous about visiting Japan is all of the food sections in your videos are full of meat / fish. Is there easy to find vegetarian food available at Japanese restaurants?

  5. Great video, thank you ! I spent 3 weeks on Kyushu in 2023 and absolutely loved it. In Kagoshima, I enjoyed the beautiful garden and the residence and the tourist bus. On Sakorajima, the longest open-air foot bath (free) is wonderful. There are also some public bath houses in Kagoshima.

If you have time, spending at least 2 nights on Yakushima (you can get there by ferry or by flight) is much recommended. Its a beautiful island, with old huge trees, farns, waterfalls etc. You are most flexible there with a rental car, but we also managed to visit by bus.

  6. This is their only second Kyushu video, and they have never been to Shikoku, at least for video, which makes me wonder why.
Maybe because they do not get any sponsor to promote those regions??
Both Kyushu and Shikoku are becoming popular among foreign tourists, but mainly Asian ones, not English speaking ones.

  7. I yet just was focused more on the northern parts of Japan… Hokkaido, Aomori, Sendai, Morioka and anything between xD

  8. Beautiful! Well done, and now perhaps some of the
Tourist Horde will find their way down South,
instead of consistently overcrowding Kyoto! 🗾🌋⛩♨🌉

  9. Nooo I need this video last month! We just got back from Kyushu 😖😖 Oh well, time to pack our bags and go again! 👍

  10. This is one of the best travel videos I have ever seen. The content is interesting and the commentary is informative. Lovely photography too.❤

  11. I fondly remember my 3 years in Hakata Army base and visiting Fukuoka many times and the Ginza in the late 1960s and early 1970s…along with many other cities like Beppu and Nagasaki. Everywhere we went the people were very friendly❤🌞🥰

  12. My favorite part of Japan … And you didn't even cover Nagasaki, Miyazaki, the islands south of Kagoshima, Oita hot springs etc. There is so much in Kyushu and the weather is warmer than the rest of Japan

  13. Thank you so much for this video as I plan to visit Kyushu in March/April this year.
I will check out your website for Nagasaki and Beppu as well.

  14. What an awesome video. Very informative and absorbing as usual. I just had a question related to mode of travel. Did Mr. Evans travel between cities on the Shinkansen or did he drive by car? If he used a Shinkansen, then which one and whether a Kyushu pass would be advisable.

  15. What a great video! Since I hope to visit Kyushu later this year the timing of the release is perfect. Just one question: which month was this video shot, please?

  16. I remember going to the garden in Kumamoto. I had no interest in gardens, but thought I might as well go to make to most of the day trip. I was just blown away by how stunning it was, and love Japanese gardens now.

  17. Thanks as always! Love your videos! Please also do a Nagasaki Video. I am planning a Kyushu trip and definitely want to included Nagasaki as well 🙂

  18. Such a great intro to Kyushu. My family and I were just in Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Beppu, and Oita. Didn’t make it to Kita-Kyushu or Kagoshima this time. Really appreciated learning about the pedestrian bridge and temple! Gotta check those out on our next Kyushu visit.

  19. I have only been to Fukuoka. It's much more affordable and walkable than Tokyo, but no less interesting. Returning in Nov 2025!
