  1. What a fun video… thank you Luke and team!!
I also appreciate that you share a free packet of seed with most orders. It's a delightful surprise 🙂

  2. I'm seeing so many "What I'm planting in February" youtubers and guess what seeds they are holding up? <3 So proud and happy to have you in Michigan.

  3. Luke you’re one of the best. I appreciate how you go behind the scene to show how the process works from beginning to end. I love your videos. Looking forward to seeing you at the store this spring/summer. Do you think you will ever get the Sugar Rush Peach Pepper seeds??

  4. Thank you for showing the "behind' the scene happenings. I did have one thought, i know dangerous, but do you have any way to show what variety of veggies grow best in certain zones ? There seem to be so many varieties. Maybe that is too much of a hassel? I live near the coast and we get lots of rain here in Washington state. Anyhoo….have a great season!!

  5. Today, I took my homeschooled grandchildren on a stay at home field trip using your very informative and detailed video. They found it to be incredibly interesting. We used a 1/8 tsp measure to help visualize how small the 1/64 tsp measure and the size of the basil seeds are. Thank you!

  6. super interesting. Thanks so much for sharing this!! I ordered my seeds already. Who knows, I may need more. LOL God Bless

  7. One of the best videos you ever made. We often wonder, "How exactly do these seeds get from a garden to the packet". I was one of those who thought folks did it by hand and marveled at their ability to count the microscopic seeds. LOL I've started ordering lots of your seeds for Christmas presents and folks really like them.

  8. Luke, I am one of those consumers who COUNT the seeds in the pack. I have always been pleasantly surprised that I (without fail) get a few extra seeds. It's like free food. Who doesn't love that? I really appreciate your standards and your teachings on gardening. Thank you!

  9. I have been lucky enough to be able to see the storefront. It was awesome and everybody was so so nice. Not to mention the excellent germination rates!

  10. This is an extremely good insight in to the industry we all love. It's rarely shown how these businesses function and what it takes to get a packet of seeds from seed to door. The shear amount of manual labour which can be tedious. Thanks for going in depth as well. Im from the UK this is refereshing.

Little knitpicking – Have you tried a very precise scale like a lab one that goes to 0.0001g. This may give you a more accurate seed count. I feel like the scoop will only work so well until you scale up even further. But i feel like this is easier said than done. As you said 13 years in and you've got a wealth of knowldge and unless you are doing this daily, Some methods may just not work. Have you considered getting something custom built(Basic), with highly accurate sensors to stream line this?

I work with CAD/CAM, Laser cutting and CNC's where its writen by code and hand built. When it comes to calibrating you do the process in step increasing increments in intervals can take a good couple hours.

Anyways, I've been a viewer for soo many years and you've influenced the way i garden so thanks for your never compromising on quality attitude.

  11. Very interesting process. Sometimes is good to see what is foing on behind the scenes. Appreciate the walk thru. I enjoyed it. I have been buying seeds from MiGardener for at least 3 years. Thank you for the price, the videos and everything you do for the customers.

  12. After watching this video, I can't imagine anyone complaining about a long shipping process. Thank you for the behind the scene look at your seed packing process.

  13. I am forever grateful 🙌🏽 to two Texas frens on Twitter that told me about y'all, I think two or three years ago.
    I have never been disappointed

  14. i bet a powder measuring machine from ammo reloading could help with the measuring of small seeds, as well as filling envelopes.

  15. Love this. My son is homeschooled and loves the garden. We’re starting to plan the garden and I’m gonna have him watch this while we start looking at our seeds and compare some of our MIgardener seeds!

  16. I just got my order today! Your customer service was indeed epic! I was just excited and reached out asking when I could expect my order… and your customer service person was so kind to update me and even gave the order a boost! Thank you, I had a lot of fun with the new soil blocker! 🤓

  17. I've always liked and respected U as a real person., and a real business person. This vid corroborates my feelings 100%. If more companies ran their businesses like U, this country would b WAY better off. ❤ U man.
