Hello! I am trying to nurse this palm back to health. I am not sure exactly what type it is, but i feel like I have tried everything. I have it in indirect sunlight, run a humidifier all day, water whenever the top of the soil is dry when pressed. Nothing seems to be working. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  1. Your most likely over watering it, if not watering it so often as the roots are probably drowning at the bottom and rotting. Id repot it in a mixture of that soil and some dry soil and leave it for a week.

Im almost certain it is spider mites. They LOVE kentia palms and also thrive in the high humidity the humidifier brings. I would cut back the leaves and spray it down with insecticidal soap or mite-x. I also recommend doing a systemic insecticide but it can be hard on the plants and it already looks like it’s suffering 🙁 I would do it once it bounced back a little.
