Ever since I moved in 2.5 years ago the lawn has always struggled. I have very sandy soil here in NJ and have always struggled to grow grass in my backyard due to the number of mature trees the previous homeowner had along with moss in the lawn. I used to hire a lawn company but they clearly don’t care about the success of my lawn, and I want to make sure I start spring off on the right foot. Where should I begin to make sure I have a nice healthy lawn this year? Should I just tear it all up and put down sod or start from seed?
